Gladiator Promotions UK : Supporting Bradley with a Specialist Trike

To Kick off GPUK 46 MMA STOKE. Gladiator Promotions UK, we believe combat sports should create opportunities not only inside the cage, but throughout the local community. We are immensely thankful to everyone who purchased G Fight Gear raffle tickets at our fight shows during 2019 and 2020, we were able to help a young boy from stoke on trent named Bradley.

Bradley was three years old when we first met him, he was born prematurely and lives with cerebral palsy alongside complex health conditions. As he relise on a wheelchair and a standing frame, riding a standard bicycle was not possible. This often meant he could not join his brothers, sisters and friends when they played outside on their bikes and scooters.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT IN ACTION

Funds raised through the G Fight Gear glove raffle helped towards a specialist trike designed around Bradley’s mobility and sensory needs. The trike gives him the chance to take part, enjoy greater independence and share experiences with his family and friends.

Further more, this support was about far more than purchasing equipment. For exsample, regular activity outdoor play and social inclusion can make a major difference to a child’s confidence, emotional wellbeing and physical development. Most importantly, Bradley now has another way to feel involved rather than left behind.

Additionally, every fighter, coach, supporter and spectator who bought a raffle ticket and helped make this possible. Our dedicated Community support has always been a central part of Gladiator Promotions UK, we are proud that supporting MMA events can help generate positive change across Stoke-On-Trent and beyond. In addittion GPUK intend to continue organising fundraising projects at future Gladiator Promotions events. Every single ticket purchased, donation made and person who shares our work helps us support more families and worthwhile causes.
