A. Parties and event
Promoter: Gladiator Promotions (UK) Ltd, company number 06776168, registered office 2
The Courtyard, Greenfield Farm Industrial Estate, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 4TR (“GPUK”
or “Promoter”).
Event: GPUK 46 — Night of the Gladiators, Saturday 28 November 2026, Fenton Manor
Sports Complex, Stoke-on-Trent (“Event”).
Fighter: full legal name __________________________ Date of birth ______________
Email __________________________ Phone __________________________
Gym/team __________________________ Coach __________________________
Coach contact __________________________
This Agreement applies to GPUK 46 only. It does not appoint GPUK as the fighter’s agent, transfer
ownership of the fighter’s existing image rights, or commit the fighter to all future GPUK
events.
1. Registration and term
1.1 This Agreement starts when the fighter completes the electronic signature process or
signs a paper copy. It applies to the fighter’s GPUK 46 registration and, if a specific bout is
accepted under clause 2, that bout at the Event. It ends after the Event and final settlement
of any sums properly due, except for clauses that by their nature continue (such as record
keeping, confidentiality and the limited media licence).

1.2 Signing this Agreement records willingness to be considered for GPUK 46 and
agreement to these event-wide terms. It does not guarantee selection, a bout, a payment, or
a particular opponent.
1.3 There is no exclusivity for any other event or promotion. The fighter must tell GPUK
about any competing commitment that could affect the proposed bout, training, weightmaking or medical safety.
2. Matchmaking and bout confirmation
2.1 GPUK will assess the fighter’s application, record, experience, weight, class, availability
and safety information to consider fair and appropriate matchmaking. GPUK may propose an
opponent and bout terms; GPUK will not treat this form alone as the fighter’s acceptance of
an unnamed opponent or unknown bout conditions.
2.2 Before a bout is treated as accepted, GPUK will send a Bout Confirmation showing at
least: opponent; discipline and ruleset/version; amateur or professional status; class; agreed
weight or weight limit; number and length of rounds; bout date and expected running order;
any appearance fee, purse or agreed expenses; and any material event-specific
requirements.
2.3 The fighter accepts or declines the Bout Confirmation by a clear reply or electronic
confirmation. This is a short match-specific confirmation, not a second full contract. GPUK
will not announce the bout as confirmed until both sides have accepted and required
medical/sporting checks are complete.
2.4 Any material change to opponent, weight, class, rules, rounds, fee or date requires fresh
acceptance by the fighter. The fighter may decline a changed offer without the automatic
opponent-expense penalty contained in the photographed legacy agreement.
3. Truthful details and records
3.1 The fighter must provide complete, accurate details of age, requested competition
category, measurements, weight, team, coach, competition level, class, fight records, titles
and relevant experience. For every martial-art style, provide wins, losses, draws and no
contests separately for amateur and professional records, as applicable. Include interclubs,
smokers, exhibitions and unsanctioned contests. Gender identity is optional, is separate from
the requested competition category and does not create automatic eligibility.
3.2 The fighter must promptly correct an error and tell GPUK about any new fight, injury,
suspension, illness, medication or other change that could affect matchmaking or safe
participation.
3.3 GPUK may check information with the fighter’s coach and the other team. A material
false or omitted statement may lead to the application or bout being paused, withdrawn or
reviewed, with reasons communicated to the fighter.

4. Rules, conduct and event authority
4.1 The fighter must follow the GPUK ruleset identified in the Bout Confirmation and provided
to the fighter in an accessible format before accepting the bout, together with lawful
instructions from the referee, officials, event management and medical team.
For GPUK 46, straight Achilles foot locks are allowed in A and B only. C class prohibits every foot lock, ankle lock, knee bar and other leg-lock submission at every age. All other class, age and prohibited-technique limits in the official GPUK rules still apply.
4.2 The referee controls the contest and may warn, deduct points, stop or disqualify a fighter.
The event medical practitioner may assess the fighter and stop participation where clinically
required. These powers exist for safety and fair conduct; they do not remove GPUK’s own
legal duties.
4.3 Fighters, coaches and team members must behave professionally and must not threaten,
abuse, discriminate against, harass or deliberately endanger others. GPUK will give the
fighter a reasonable opportunity to respond to an alleged breach before imposing a nonurgent sanction, where circumstances allow.
4.4 Any anti-doping or drug-testing requirement must be in the version of GPUK rules/policy
supplied to the fighter, state who may test and how samples are handled, and be
administered consistently. This Agreement does not create an unspecified unlimited testing power.
5. Health, medical fitness and safety
5.1 The fighter must not compete while medically suspended or when they know they are not
fit to do so. The fighter must promptly notify GPUK of an injury, illness, concussion,
medication or medical restriction relevant to training or competition and follow appropriate
medical advice.
5.2 GPUK may require the event’s published medical checks and relevant medical
clearance. The ringside medical practitioner may examine the fighter and stop or refuse
participation where needed for safety. The fighter may withdraw if unfit and should notify
GPUK as soon as possible. Arrive clean and showered, with clean fight kit. Do not share
towels, razors or personal hygiene items. Tell your coach and Ross immediately about a
rash, sore, blister or suspected contagious infection, including staph/MRSA, impetigo or
ringworm. Do not train or compete while a contagious infection is suspected; return only after
medical clearance and confirmation from the event team.
5.3 A risk acknowledgement is not a promise that the Event is risk-free. The fighter
acknowledges that combat sports carry inherent risks, including serious injury, permanent
impairment and death, and chooses to train for and participate in an accepted bout with that
understanding.
5.4 Nothing in this Agreement excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
or restricted, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. No term
requires the fighter to waive a right to bring a lawful claim.

Medical information is sensitive personal data. GPUK must provide a separate privacy
notice and identify its UK GDPR Article 6 lawful basis and Article 9 condition before
collecting or using detailed health information. Detailed medical disclosures should be
restricted to people who need them for safety.
6. Weigh-in, equipment and event attendance
6.1 The fighter must meet the weight and weigh-in procedure stated in the Bout Confirmation
and GPUK rules supplied for GPUK 46. The current planned GPUK 46 weigh-in is Friday 27
November 2026, not before 12:00 midday, with a 16:00 deadline. The weigh-in must be at
least 24 hours before the fighter’s bout. Any extension must be agreed in advance by both
coaches and the GPUK Event Director and recorded. No weight cut or weigh-in instruction
overrides medical advice or the event doctor’s decision.
6.2 The fighter must use safe, approved equipment for the agreed class and discipline.
GPUK will identify required gloves, shin pads, mouthguard, groin protection, clothing and
other equipment in the event rules or Bout Confirmation. Officials may reject unsafe or
unsuitable equipment.
6.3 The current planned Event schedule is: fighter arrival/medical 12:00–15:00; rules and
photos 15:00–16:00; doors 15:30; public stare-down 16:00; first bout planned between 16:00
and 17:00; event from 16:00 until late. GPUK will issue the final schedule and promptly notify
the fighter of material changes.
7. Ticket codes and commissions
7.1 GPUK 46 uses digital tickets only. GPUK will issue each fighter a unique sales code and
a QR code or link for that fighter to share from their phone and on their event poster.
Supporters use that code or QR link to open the official ticketing system and buy tickets. The
system records completed sales against the fighter’s code. Ticket orders and payments are
handled through GPUK’s approved ticketing account; fighters must not collect ticket-buyer
money themselves. No paper tickets are issued or returned.
7.2 Current ticket prices and fighter commissions are: Silver, £45 per ticket with £5
commission for each completed paid sale attributed to the fighter’s code; Gold Cageside,
£75 per ticket with £10 commission for each completed paid sale attributed to the fighter’s
code. Refunded or charged-back orders, complimentary tickets, and sales not attributed to
that code do not earn commission unless GPUK confirms otherwise in writing.
7.3 After the Event is complete, GPUK will reconcile the ticketing-system record, give the
fighter a sales statement showing sales attributed to their code and commission due, and
transfer the earned commission from GPUK’s ticketing proceeds/account to the fighter’s
nominated bank account within one day after reconciliation. The fighter must provide or
confirm their payout details through GPUK’s secure method before the Event. Any

adjustment for a refund or chargeback must be shown on the statement. The fighter must not
collect ticket money outside the approved process or misstate sales.
7.4 There is no personal liability for unsold tickets under the digital-code system. This clause
replaces the GPUK 45 paper-ticket return and ticket-monies wording for GPUK 46.
8. Fees, expenses and tax
8.1 Any appearance fee, purse, travel or other expense payment must be stated in the Bout
Confirmation, including whether it is gross or net, what evidence is required, and when it will
be paid. If the confirmation states “none”, no such payment is promised. Ticket commission
is separate.
8.2 The fighter is responsible for their own tax position. GPUK will make any deductions
required by law and provide the information legally required.
9. Withdrawal, cancellation and suspension
9.1 The fighter should notify GPUK immediately if they cannot continue training, make the
agreed weight, attend, or safely compete. If the reason is medical, relevant details should be
given to the event medical contact through the private route stated in the privacy notice.
9.2 GPUK may cancel or change a bout or the Event for safety, medical, venue, regulatory or
other reasonable operational grounds. GPUK will notify the fighter as soon as practicable
and settle any ticket commission already earned under clause 7.
9.3 Neither party owes an automatic fixed penalty or the other opponent’s expenses solely
because a fighter withdraws or a bout is cancelled. Any claim for direct, reasonable loss
caused by a proven breach is subject to applicable law, evidence, mitigation and
independent legal review.
9.4 GPUK may pause or end a fighter’s participation for a serious safety issue, material false
information, serious misconduct or material breach. Where practicable, GPUK will explain
the concern and allow the fighter to respond before a final decision.
10. Image, voice and event recordings
10.1 The fighter keeps ownership of material and intellectual property they owned before the
Event. Nothing in this Agreement assigns all existing or future image rights to GPUK.
10.2 The fighter grants GPUK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the
fighter’s name, image, likeness and voice as captured in connection with GPUK 46, and to
edit, publish, broadcast, archive and promote GPUK 46 and GPUK’s related event coverage.
GPUK may retain event recordings for legitimate archive and reporting purposes.
10.3 This licence does not permit a sponsor or other third party to imply the fighter endorses
a product, or permit standalone merchandise or unrelated advertising using the fighter’s

identity, without a separate clear agreement. The fighter can ask GPUK where an image will
be used and can raise an objection through the contact details in the privacy notice.
10.4 GPUK owns the copyright in footage and media it creates, subject to the fighter’s rights
and the limited licence above. Any broader commercial licence must be separately and
clearly agreed.
11. Data, privacy and confidentiality
11.1 GPUK may use the fighter’s application and contact details to assess and administer
the GPUK 46 application and any accepted bout, communicate event information, verify
sporting details, and meet legal, safety and insurance requirements. GPUK must make its
privacy notice available before submission and state access, sharing, retention, security and
rights information.
11.2 Health information, emergency contact information, fighter photographs and public
promotion must each be handled for a stated purpose and shared only as described in the
privacy notice. A contract signature is not blanket data-protection consent.
11.3 Each party must keep genuinely confidential information received from the other secure
and use it only for the Event, except where disclosure is required for safety, insurance,
professional advice or by law.
12. Complaints, governing law and whole agreement
12.1 A fighter may raise an issue with GPUK at gpuk2009@gmail.com. GPUK should
acknowledge it promptly, review the available information and provide a reasoned response.
Urgent safety concerns should be raised immediately with the event medical lead or Event
Director.
12.2 This Agreement and any accepted Bout Confirmation are governed by the law of
England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any
mandatory rights that apply.
12.3 This document, the accepted Bout Confirmation, the identified GPUK rules and the
privacy notice form the agreement for GPUK 46. If they conflict, the order is: this Agreement
for general terms; the Bout Confirmation for bout-specific details; and the rules for technical
contest requirements. A later change must be recorded in writing or in the electronic system.
13. Electronic signing and evidence
13.1 The fighter must be shown the full final agreement, its version number and date before
signing. To sign online, the fighter must actively tick the separate “I have read and agree”
box, print their full legal name in the form, and draw their signature in the signature box.
The system must record the displayed version, date/time, fighter contact details, active
confirmation and signature image, and send the fighter a complete copy including the drawn
signature.

13.2 The checkbox must not be pre-ticked. A coach acknowledgement is separate and does
not make the coach personally responsible for the fighter’s obligations unless the coach
signs a separate agreement that clearly says so.
13.3 For a fighter under 18, do not rely on this adult signature process. GPUK must use a
separate age-appropriate agreement and obtain any guardian consent and sport/event
approval required, after solicitor review.

Open and read the full agreement above before signing. Each required signer must print their full legal name, tick their own confirmation box and draw their signature. The completed terms and signature images will be saved privately and emailed to the fighter and parent/guardian where applicable.
